The concept of the book came from several conversation with my girlfriends.  A lot of my friends are girl-bosses.  They range from restaurant owners, teachers, stylists, human resource managers and stay-at-home mothers, so juggling day to day life can sometimes get complicated,” says Yasmeen. “Neglecting “Bae” was one of the topics that often came up in our conversations, so jokingly one day I said, the problem is that we are not cooking for bae.  My friends gave every excuse as to why they did not have time to cook and have a romantic evening with “Bae”. So, I said, “well I am going to write a cookbook because we need to get back in the kitchen, she adds.  “And, my love for cooking made creating the book that much easier,” Yasmeen mentions with a chuckle.
